It has long been said that Nokia is in desperate need of a strong dose of ‘welcome to the 21st century’. But with this week’s appearance of screenshots of three new Windows Phone OS devices, there may yet be hope for the Finnish brand, after all.
The devices are: the Lumia 800, its companion – the Lumia 710 smartphone, and (what looks to be the showstopper) the Nokia 900. The latter reportedly sports a 4.3-inch display and a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor backed by a gig of RAM.
WinRumors was the first to leak the story, and the full details of the new phones are expected to be released on Wednesday (26 October 2011) at the Nokia World Conference.
